We can support you in:

• Understanding the Virginia Employment Commission’s policies.
• Answering questions about Medicaid, the Virginia Retirement System, or the Department of Taxation.
• Scheduling a DMV appointment or navigating the DMV website.
• Coordinating road maintenance with VDOT.

Nominating community members and groups for House resolutions

Delegate Helmer can file resolutions to celebrate and honor members of our community for certain milestones accepted by the General Assembly. These include the death of a loved one, a major anniversary, recognition of service, a business or nonprofit award, 50th anniversaries, 100th birthdays, etc. If you know a person or organization that you believe deserves recognition, please fill out this form.

Due to the volume of requests and the rules of the General Assembly, we can’t guarantee that each nomination will receive a resolution. That said, we’ll do our best to honor every nominee and can also write letters of commendation for events that might not be able to receive a House or Joint Resolution.
